Lyon County is nestled in the heart of the Mason Valley, easily accessible to the Nevada State Capital, Carson City. The Lyon County seat, Yerington is a town of more than 3,000 residents located along the banks of the Walker River in the Mason Valley an area surrounded by picturesque mountains – all in the high Nevada Desert. The town is home to a traditional and historic downtown that is the heart of the activities in the area.
