The Freedom Trail offers almost three centuries of Boston’s colonial and revolutionary history with a red line on the sidewalk leading from site to site. Sites include Faneuil Hall, Boston Massacre Site, Old State House, Old South Meeting Hall, Boston Tea Party Ship and Museum, Ben Franklin’s Statue and the Site of the First Public School, Old Granary Burying Ground, Park Street Church, Boston Common, State House, Kings Chapel, Paul Revere House, Old North Church, Copp’s Hill Burial Ground, Bunker Hill Monument, U.S.S. Constitution (Old Ironsides), and U.S.S. Cassin Young.

The Black Heritage Trail explores the history of Boston’s 19th century free Black community in a tour of 15 antebellum sites including the African Meeting House, Lewis and Harriet Hayden House, and the Museum of Afro-American History.
