Major Highways
US Highway 36
Known as the Boulder Turnpike, the highway stretches between Denver and Broomfield/Boulder and mountain destinations
Interstate 25
Known as Valley Highway, runs north and south through the state and flows just west of downtown Denver.
Interstate 225
Runs through the southeastern portion of the metro area and joins I-25 in the south and I-70 to the north
Interstate 70
East/west artery that leads to Denver International airport north of downtown or into the mountains and major ski areas heading west
C-470
Beltway skirts the southwestern Denver metro area and runs from I-70 in the east to I-25 in the east
E-470
Toll road beltway connects with C-470 at I-25 and turning north to intercept eastbound I-70
Santa Fe Drive
Runs from I-25 south of downtown and extends past C-470 in Douglas County
Sixth Avenue
Westbound 6th Avenue intercepts with I-70 west, convenient for west suburb commuters
